Home of the Internet Poker Alliance (IPA) and the Model Internet Poker Act project (MIPA)

MIPA is model legislation designed to serve as a template for state legislatures throughout the country. Our goal is to establish more uniformity in our laws and make nationwide online poker possible.

For example, we can’t allow New Jersey players to use Heads Up Displays (HUDs) if Nevada players can’t use them or New Jersey players would have an unfair advantage. And we need to address rapidly developing technologies that are threatening the integrity of the game, like RTA GTO solvers (software that provides game theory optimal solutions using real time analysis).

Please revisit this site later this Summer so you can give your feedback on the proposed MIPA laws. We poker players will create our own online poker law by which we are governed.
